In my artistic research, I navigate the intersection of sound and creative coding, delving into the realms of listening, sound perception and memory, through the lens of modern technologies. My practice unfolds in performances and installations where I seamlessly weave together field recordings and algorithmic compositions.

Approaching life with the curiosity of an engineer, the methodology of a scientist, and the sensitivity of an artist, I consistently incorporate interdisciplinary methods into my sonic work, by expanding the available technological tools and their uses. My PhD in AI has equipped me with the ability to critically employ algorithmic techniques and mathematical models to analyse complex processes, decompose structures, and then use them as a basis for spatial electroacoustic compositions. My primary focus lies on the evolving processes, treated as dynamic compositional languages, rather than fixating on isolated final pieces.

Motivated by the transient realities sculpted by sound, I explore subjective perceptions and interpretations, influenced by individual semantic connotations that transcend the physical dimensions of sources and spaces. Drawing from my personal experiences of living in diverse countries from an early age, my current research revolves around the computational perception of urban soundscapes, portraying expressions of historical memories, community activities, social dynamics and political forces. I apply computational models to identify the sound marks of places, resonating with a sense of belonging and community. Simultaneously, I investigate the potential of AI techniques to enhance human creativity and learning, particularly in electroacoustic music composition. My focus centers on the design of extended instruments and performances, fostering the interaction between human and computer, performing on low-frequency textures, urban soundscapes, voices, and real-time feedback.

Rooted in a diverse range of influences, from the mathematical compositions of Xenakis to the soundscapes of Barry Truax and Felix Blume, my portfolio spans electroacoustic and soundscape compositions, spatial computer-controlled sound installations, and concerts, that invite listeners to unique and constantly evolving experiences. Beyond those, I actively engage in workshops and collaborations, guided by the principles of learning through making, knowledge exchange, co-creation and community.
